dear photoshop,
i used to get all kinds of questions about you:
what photoshop tricks do you use?
what kind of actions do you run on your photos?
things like that...
but the truth is, i don't really use you all that much.
in fact, 9 times out of 10, i love my pictures straight out of the camera. i generally only use you for fine-tuning. i've never really made friends with 'actions.'
but i will admit, on a few rare occasions, i am very very grateful that you are around.
this was one such occasion:
[the after]
i was still getting used to my flash - i'm pretty sure it just can't keep up with how fast my camera can shoot - and this was one of the photos the flash decided not to operate for.
true, the after photo isn't the greatest display of photography in the world. yes, it's a little bit grainy.
but i love it anyway.
even the bride told me it was one of her favorites.
so thank you photoshop. we can be friends.
xoxo.
jana
i promise one day i'll post this wedding in its entirety. i'm slacking

I so agree with you! Half the time when I do photoshop my pics I decided I liked them better before I messed with them.
That is a great wedding shot! Totally captures the moment.
haha! i love when you write cute letters like these! in fact I have done it a few times on my blog too:-) check out my sugar letter...hee hee!

Hi, I love your photos. would you be willing to blog about what camera and lens you use, and what you did to learn to take great pictures? I am curious & would love to know how you started.
thanks
elizabeth
That photo rocks! Those are the best ones. . .the ones that are a little grainy or blurry. You have to check out "one love photo" Google it. Her site is all those kind of pics and they inspire me to my toes. They're the kind that you just want to jump in the pic and be a part of the fun. =)
