she's from preston, idaho - you know, like napoleon dynamite. [she even got to wear an awesome poofy-sleeved dress for the school dance scene].

she sat next to me in our sewing class and would listen to all my crazy boy stories while we would unpick our seams. yeah, we unpicked lots of seams.

oh, and she does pageants. why wouldn't she?

i like to call these her future senator photos.

i'm happy to report

that i didn't need an umbrella today.

unlike yesterday when i took these fun pictures of my roommate. [it poured right after we went inside]

really, utah? it's june. if it's not sunny for my birthday on saturday, i might have to fight you.

in happier news, i turned these photos in for my last photography assignment today and my professor told me i need to reapply to the program and major in photography. it made my day :)

it's pretty awesome that you're so close to disneyland. we got to meet up with our friend rachael at downtown disney, though it made me slightly sad we didn't actually get to play inside.

on the ninth and tenth day of christmas...

i didn't have to work...


so i could set up for this party, and then recover from it.

since our freshman year in high school, i've put on the girls' annual christmas dinner - 7 years and counting.

me and liz might have stolen these branches from a neighbor's tree.

after dinner, we took the pictures hanging from the trees and wrote our predictions for our friends this coming year. the plan is to read them all at the party next year and see if any come true. i haven't even peeked - i want them to be a surprise

i made these felt trees a few days ago to be additional table toppers, but there was no room on the table to put them! at least i have some sweet christmas decorations for next year.
